We aim to put young people aged 9 to 19 years, back in control of their lives by increasing their confidence & optimism, improving their relationships with others and increasing their engagement in healthy and positive activities.

We aim to give children and young people the chance to become everything they can be, sometimes when no one else believes that they can, through mentoring and group activities.
We recruit, screen and train volunteers to enable them to work effectively with young people and to support SMASH in other areas also.
SMASH is committed to helping young people in the Swindon area who have made a decision to change their lives for the better. Reasons for referrals are varied. Our next training dates for new volunteers is the 14th and 15th September.
